The Infant, Preschool, Family Mental Health Initiative

This set of documents was produced through the Infant, Preschool, Family, Mental Health Initiative (IPFMHI). These products, a joint effort of First 5 California, the California Department of Mental Health, and the California Institute of Mental Health, are designed to support First 5 Special Needs Demonstrations Sites, First 5 School Readiness Sites, and other early mental health program efforts across the state.

These three guides offer information and outline structures that can support the development of programs that identify social-emotional developmental delays and disorders, and promote access to prevention, early intervention, and treatment services for children birth to 5 years old.
