Brian Keefer was hired by CIMH in September 2000 to work in an Associate level capacity for the California Mental Health Planning Council's (CMHPC) Human Resources Committee's (HRC) Human Resources Project (HRP). The CMHPC supervises Mr. Keefer and the HRP's scope of work is determined by the CMHPC's HRC. His duties include staffing a variety of workforce development committees, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, and collaborating with other organizations seeking pragmatic solutions to California's mental health worker shortage. Mr. Keefer reports on the project's progress at the quarterly meetings held by CMHPC's HRC. Prior to working for the CMHPC's HRP he was the Local Child Care Planning Council Coordinator for Colusa County.
