Co-Occurring Disorders Project

The California Institute for Mental Health (CiMH) is in partnership with the development of statewide services for persons with co-occurring disorders. Co-occurring disorders are defined as any combination of mental health and alcohol and other drug issues or disorders. CiMH is collaboratively assisting partners to have clients and families appropriately engaged in the services they want and need.

Our collective vision is that all persons seeking alcohol or other drug services or mental health services in California will have the opportunity to experience a comprehensive, continuous, seamless system of care that supports them in pursuit of their individual wellness and recovery.

Over the past years, CiMH has developed initiatives and products that are of use to many stakeholders.
