Services For Adults/Older Adults

CIMH conducts several education, training, technical assistance and evaluation activities to assist in the provision of quality services to adults with psychiatric disabilities.

  • Training and technical assistance for the AB 2034 programs (integrated services for people with psychiatric disabilities who are homeless) has included housing development, employment, support for people with dual diagnosis, services for transition age youth and developing coalitions
  • Technical Assistance for providing recovery-oriented services and systems of care
  • Implementation of CalMAP – the medications algorithm project – in California counties
  • Training, technical assistance for and evaluation of the implementation of Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment in four counties under the auspices of the State Department of Mental Health and the national Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency
